Circular card - Digi stamps

Goodness, I just cannot believe it as been such a long time since I last posted on my blog. Life just seems to be constantly busy and not so much time is allocated to my wonderful hobby.

The card below is one I made for my Aunt who, as you can see, celebrated her 90th birthday. Elaine looks so good for her age and we were invited to Kelvin Grove for a delicious meal to celebrate her special day.

The watering can and 90th sentiment are both free digi stamps and I have used this beautiful circular die from Marianne Designs (LR0112) which I received as a gift from one of my good stamping friends - what a gift!!

Easter Card

Easter Friday - the day Jesus was crucified - Let us remember Him and his suffering to save us.

This is the first easter card I have ever made in all my years of stamping!! Michelle Anders sent me a cute card so I wanted to reciprocate.

Both the images are free Digi stamps and I have added ribbon, pearls and flowers.

Chinese doll digi

This gorgeous Chinese doll has also brought me so much pleasure. I have shaded her with ProMarker, added gorgeous back ground paper, added pearls, rickrack and flowers. A Martha Stewart border punch had been used at the bottom.

I have been very inspired with some of the beautiful digital stamps available. This is another one that really took my fancy. I made several cards with this stamp but used different back ground papers. The swirl made with pearls was inspired by a template donated by Mel of Digistamps4joy to the ladies who attended World Card Making Day in October last year at Debbie's home.

It has been a long time since i last posted. My dear friend, Debbie Harris came around this moring and helped me to get back on track!.

I had fun making cards with this digital stamp and added ribbons and coloured paper. The circular sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.
